Objective Morning

When I first started writing this list in December 2021, never could I have imagined after two years of uncertainty due to coronavirus, that humanity would be facing the threat of increasing violence in Eastern Europe which would come to overshadow all of our lives, the world has since become a much darker place.  In positive events, personal to me I have been lucky enough to see many great movies during the year and listen to a lot of excellent albums and 7inches which I compiled into the below list which includes some of the stand out out titles which I thought were worthy of a mention. This list came about much later than i had originally intended due to a combination of being embroiled in drawing illustrations as well as the year seemingly drawing to close before I even had a chance to take a breath. I don't need to say much about 2020 that hasn't already been said by multiple people before me. If you were there, you knew how excruciating it was for a number of reasons, but surprisingly even though live music as an entity ceased to be, there were a good amount of records released this year. Below are some of the releases that left the biggest impression on me. Everybody seems to have their annual 'end of year lists' around this time of year so this being no exception here are some of  the best releases that stood out to me this year with an example of my favourite track from said album. This list is split into full length albums, singles & EP's. Originally this was going to be a Top Ten list but there was just no way to fit in all the excellent releases i heard this year.  Best Albums of 2019 Terra Alta by FATAMORGANA Fatamorgana  - Terra Alta LP La Vida Es En Mus Spain ( Barcelona ) Fatamorgana are a Minimal Synth/Synthpop act from  Barcelona  featuring members of  Belgrado  &  Sect .
